Helpdesk Analyst

Location : Washington D.C.


Duration : Full time


Qualifications:

Prospective employee should have good communication skills as well as a strong understanding of all Microsoft platforms including the setup and maintenance of the following:

Troubleshoot PC and laptop hardware, XP operating system and MS Office issues

Software/Operating System/Hardware installation/upgrades

Respond to helpdesk trouble tickets

Manage and create new user accounts

Manage IT web accounts

Assist System Administrators with IT needs .


Position Responsibilities/Duties:

Information Technology or related major with 12-24 months experience in a desktop support position preferred

Strong Windows XP and PC Hardware installation and troubleshooting skills

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Basic understanding of TCP/IP for network connectivity troubleshooting .


Required Skills and Abilities:

Apple ,

Linux ,

Exchange ,

Scripting languages a plus ,

Trouble ticketing systems ,

Basic networking .


Education : Bachelor's degree or comparable work experience preferred
